Cosa fa supporre una possibile presenza di Bono e soci? Essenzialmente il fatto che la “conferenza accademica”, inizialmente programmata a New York City, è stata spostata in tali date a Durham: proprio in quei giorni a Raleigh, non lontano da Durham, gli U2 terranno un concerto. Le iscrizioni alla (questo il titolo completo della manifestazione) “The hype and the feedback: a conference exploring the music, work and influence of U2” inizieranno il mese prossimo. It will be a busy weekend with the concerts in Charlottesville and Raleigh. Carter-Finley is an easy drive from NCCU down the Durham Fwy (147) to I-40E. I don't know if NCCU is listed as an historically African-American college but the fact that it serves a population of students that have had their own struggle with social disenfranchisement & knowing U2's lifelong appreciation of African-American culture, I think that this is a BRILLIANT choice!
